A riverfront with a lot of boats. — Many of the festivals staged at Heritage Port attract large crowds, and the riverfront is popular with local boaters during those weekends, as well.

19th Annual Wheeling Heritage Port Car Show Slated for July 3

The 19^th annual Wheeling Heritage Port Car Show will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, July 3 at the city’s Heritage Port, 12^th and Water streets.

Registration will be held from 9 a.m. – noon. The first 100 registrants will receive a dash plaque and a giveaway. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top 20 entries. Door prizes will also be given out. Judging will be done by City of Wheeling staff and officials. Food and drinks will be available, and entertainment will be provided by The Spike Man.
