What:

The Annual Bordas & Bordas Amateur Golf Classic – the longest-running two-day amateur tournament in the tri-state area. The tournament started as the Bernhardt’s in 1945 and is the seventh year under the title of the Bordas & Bordas Amateur Golf Classic, featuring an overall purse of $10,000 to be awarded throughout the field in various divisions for medal and best-ball formats.

Who:

The tournament benefits the Oglebay Foundation’s Access to the Parks Program, which provides scholarships to families based on financial need and allows local youths the opportunity to experience programs and facilities at the parks. A record 200+ players, including juniors (18 or younger), spanning 5 states, have registered to play.

When:

Saturday and Sunday, June 8-9. First tee time 7 AM both days. Leaders should conclude the second round at approximately 6 to 7 PM Sunday night with championship trophies presented to the winners of the junior, senior and championship flights.
