Marshall County:
The Marshall County Health Department received confirmation of 21 new positive and 14 new probable COVID 19 cases. These cases were confirmed between May 8 and May 10, 2021. The Health Department continues to work on investigations and contact tracing for current active cases.
Due to potential delays in reporting to all state level resources, the Marshall County Health Department recommends everyone to obtain current total numbers from the WVDHHR COVID 19 dashboard website, https://dhhr.wv.gov/COVID-19/Pages/default.aspx.

Ohio County:
Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department is announcing one (1) new case of COVID-19 for 5/10/21 in Ohio County. Currently, the health department reports a total of 4394 cases, including eighty-nine (89) deaths. Case surveillance, contact tracing, and monitoring continue for many of the reported cases.
The Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department will hold free COVID-19 testing clinics on Monday, May 10, 2021, and Wednesday, May 12, 2021.

The free clinics are for those with or without symptoms and no insurance is needed. Participants need to bring a driver’s license, photo ID or other proof of address. No residency restrictions. Patients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is a drive-up testing clinic and participants will be tested either in their personal vehicles or at a walk-up location near the testing sites. This special clinic is being hosted by the Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department and the Wheeling-Ohio County Emergency Management Agency. May 10 – May 14, 2021, COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics (subject to change due to supply). Clinics are 8:00am -4:00pm each day. 1st dose and 2nd dose vaccines available. Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccines are available. Walk-ins welcomed.

All vaccination appointments and events are held at the Community Vaccination Center at the Highlands. The COVID-19 community vaccination center at the Highlands is located in the old Michaels Craft Store/Spirit Halloween Store. The address is 550 Cabela Drive, Triadelphia, West Virginia 26059. Ohio Valley residents in West Virginia can now do self-scheduling to make COVID-19 vaccine appointments. Log onto: http://www.wheelinghospital.org/vaccine. The Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department will hold daily COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics May 10-14, 2021, and May 17-21, 2021, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Clinics will be reduced to three days a week the week of May 24, 2021, and will be on May 24, 26, and 28, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Starting in June COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics will be twice a week on June 1, 3, 8, and 10, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Additional clinics, locations, dates, and times will be announced as needed.
