This week I’m tagging in my friend Christine that posted this easy cake cookie recipe on the Connect in the Kitchen Facebook page.  I have shared some of Christine’s recipes before like her grandmas meatloaf and her shrimp dip that was amazing.  I don’t bake often and savory is more my style, but little ingredients and easy recipe for these cake cookies sounds great to me.  I may actually bake cookies for Christmas this year.  Ha!

“Wanting a quick cookie recipe that you can whip up in minutes? Try these out!  I used Devils Food cake along with Vanilla Funfetti flavored rainbow morsels.  For the other batch I really wanted lemon cake but the store did not have any so I used yellow cake, a box of lemon instant pudding and white chocolate morsels.  Both super yum! Have to say the devils food is our fave. Mix and match with your favorites mixes and candies or even add nuts! Enjoy!”

Ingredients:

Pick whatever cake mix you love
1/2 cup of vegetable or canola oil
2 eggs
1-2 cups of your favorite chocolate chips or baking candies and mix

The flavors of home cookies is completely up to the baker.

Directions:

– Mix a box of cake mix with the oil, eggs, chocolate chips or baking candies
– Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet. 
– Bake on 350 for 8-9 minutes.
– Cool on a wire rack
