In anticipation of reopening the hospital, East Ohio Regional Hospital is pleased to announce that it has secured access to the historical medical records for former patients of both EORH and OVMC. EORH Chief Operating Officer Bernie Albertini indicated: “It is extremely important to our mission to serve the local community in the Ohio Valley – and making sure that the former patients of both hospitals have access to their medical records is a big part of fulfilling this mission. We look forward to welcoming back our former patients from both EORH and OVMC in the very near future.” Dr. John Johnson, the owner and operator of East Ohio Hospital, LLC, added: “While it may have been more cost effective to contract with a different provider for our Electronic Medical Records, it was imperative that we allow our patients and their doctors to have access to their complete medical records. We are very pleased to make this a reality.”
