Steve Novotney Lives! Ep. #9

Guests: Rick Jones, Scott Porter, Dels. Shawn Fluharty and Erikka Storch

Rick Jones, the assistant superintendent of Ohio County Schools, will join at the beginning of the show to discuss how the school district is preparing to return to the regular routine of five-day-per-week instruction beginning March 15. We’ll also discuss the first week of sports at the high school level and the upcoming overlap with the spring teams.

Scott Porter is a former trustee in Pultney Township and also a past employee of Bellaire and Martins Ferry, and he and I will discuss the biggest challenges facing communities in East Ohio at this time.

We’ll take a hard look at the action in Charleston and the course that’s been taken by the Republican majorities in both the House and the Senate. Dels. Shawn Fluharty and Erikka Storch will join me on the phone during the final hour of the show.
