Bethany, W.Va (BethanyBison.com) – The Bethany College Athletics Department is excited to announce the addition of a new synthetic turf surface on the Bison Stadium athletic field, a move that will have an immediate, positive impact on the Bison athletic programs.  

Working with the Motz Group, this project is set to begin mid-July of 2021 and will be completed by the beginning of the 2021 fall season. Bison Stadium is the primary competition and practice facility for football, lacrosse, outdoor track and field and occasionally the soccer programs.

The turf is also used for physical education classes, club sports, intramurals and local campus community.

Updates that will be made to the facility include: the current turf field will be replaced with synthetic turf and will display Bethany in one endzone, Bison in the opposite, and the Bethany College Bisonat mid-field. The current track will be resurfaced and relined.
