Wheeling Police Investigating Weekend Burglary

Wheeling Police charged three people with theft and drug charges over the weekend.

Around 10 a.m., Sunday, police were called to the 2300 block of Chapline Street for a resident who wanted to report a home burglary. The investigation led officers to obtain an initial search warrant at 2315 Eoff Street, where several suspects involved were located.

After questioning those inside the residence, police located the stolen property and other items from previously reported burglaries and thefts in the city. Officers then obtained additional search warrants after finding drug-using materials and methamphetamine inside.

Arrested and facing charges are:

  • Howard Miller, 54 of Wheeling – charged with receiving stolen property
  • Kyle Scott Marsh, 38 of Wheeling – charged with receiving stolen property and possession
  • Lawrence William Murray, 50 of Wheeling – charged with receiving stolen property and possession
