Every time the Super Bowl comes around again, I hear the stats on how many wings are eaten by Americans on the Sunday of the big game. Don’t get me wrong, I love good wings, but I won’t get into the great wing debate of the Ohio Valley.

Let’s just say there are two in Wheeling and one in Wellsburg that I could probably eat every day.

This week, though, allow me to introduce to you a new football food statistic: Jessica Rine uses  more cream cheese on one Sunday during regular season football than most people use all year.

I am who I am, and I’ve accepted it.

Y’all, I have already shared my favorite tailgate spread recipes (A friend of mine uses “y’all” all of the time and I’m trying to work it into my life because it makes me smile. Just go with it). While I’m a little early in the game to have a “greatest hits album” today, that’s what you’re getting; a food column with all of my favorite tailgating recipes. This is the highlight reel of my Sunday tailgate spreads.

Enjoy.  And if you have a  go-to favorite, or try something Sunday you have never have and you love it, please send it to me or post in the comments.  Good food should be shared!

Even if you don’t care who wins, enjoy Super Bowl Sunday and try out a new recipe!
