Riesbeck’s Pharmacy to Participate in National DEA Drug Take Back Day

Media Event Scheduled for October 22nd

Riesbeck’s Pharmacy is proud to announce its participation in the DEA’s National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 26th.This important event, scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., will take place at all four of our pharmacy locations: Bridgeport, Cambridge, St. Clairsville, and South Zanesville.

The DEA Drug Take Back Day provides a critical opportunity to safely dispose of unused or expired prescription medications. This initiative helps remove potentially dangerous drugs from home medicine cabinets, keeping them off the streets and out of the hands of children. Riesbeck’s is committed to supporting this effort and will work alongside the DEA and local law enforcement at each location to collect unwanted medications. Please note that liquids, syringes, and aerosols will not be accepted.

In advance of the event, a media preview will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd, at 11 a.m. at the Riesbeck’s Bridgeport location. This will give the media a chance to speak with Ryan Bane PharmD., RPh, Pharmacy Specialist about the importance of the event and how the community can get involved.
