Susan Hogan was a fan. And she enjoyed applauding everyone deserving.
She loved to learn cultures, and she loved the arts – all the arts – because of the creation. And she was intrigued with creators and wanted to hear about processes and inspirations and about all the “A-ha Moments” because she adored another person’s joy. She had a very special smile for that.
She appreciated. She facilitated. She engaged. She encouraged. And Susan rooted for you no matter who you were. She made the best from the worst. With class.
She dreamed it, she proposed it, she followed through with it, and with each accomplishment, Susan made Wheeling and Ohio County a better place. She commanded an audience.
She was freakin’ fun. She laughed loudly. She was cool and clever and inclusive, and Susan was a beautiful, delightful person you were proud to know. You hugged her back.
She admired. She respected. Susan loved. And she believed.
In all of us.
