WPD Arrest Man in East Wheeling Fire

WHEELING, W.Va. — Wheeling Fire Department Investigators have charged one person in connection with a house fire that occurred Tuesday afternoon on 18th Street in East Wheeling.

The Bureau of Fire Investigations announced that Joseph Walton Jr., 35, of Wheeling, has been charged with one count of first-degree arson.

Walton was arraigned Tuesday evening by an Ohio County magistrate and was later taken to the Northern Regional Jail.
