🚨 EMERGENCY TRAINING EVENT NOTICE 🚨
On Wednesday June 4th 2025, a Full-Scale Emergency Training Event will take place from 8 a.m. until Noon at Moundsville Middle School, the John Marshall Fieldhouse & the area around the Monarch Stadium Complex in Moundsville.
As part of this emergency training event, emergency response personnel from across Marshall County along local, state & federal public safety agencies will be participating in the training event. This will include the movement of emergency vehicles & personnel, school buses, street & highway crews in & around the Moundsville Middle School, fieldhouse & football stadium area in addition to the Tomlinson Avenue & WV Route 2 areas.
As the emergency training event takes place, parts of Tomlinson Avenue in Moundsville from 2nd Street to 5th Street will be closed. It is recommended to avoid the area during the training event & utilize alternate routes of travel for both vehicle & foot traffic.
The training event will look like a real life emergency situation however, it will be a training event for First Responders and Marshall County Schools.
