Beginning today, petition signing times are 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday & Friday at River Network locations in Bellaire and Steubenville.
The Belmont County location is at 56325 High Ridge Road – the home of River Talk and the legendary WOMP FM – and the Jefferson County location is inside Fort Steuben Mall, entering from the Walmart entrance.
Those who are tired of paying high property taxes in Ohio might want to consider signing the petition to add a constitutional amendment that could eliminate property taxes in Ohio altogether. One proposal involves increasing the state’s sales tax to replace the $18.5 billion in estimated revenue from property tax collections.
The River Network has committed to collecting the petition signatures through December 31st.
