WHEELING, WV – A new kind of art event planned for the Friendly City. Art Remix LIVE!, happening Friday, August 29 from 5:30 to 9:00 PM at Waterfront Hall, invites the public to witness creativity in action — and rally behind Wheeling-area flood relief.
Organized by local artists Mindi Yarbrough and Jes Reger Davis, Art Remix LIVE! is a collaborative, high-energy evening where artists swap canvases in real time during a rotating live painting relay. The final works — each touched by multiple creative hands — will be auctioned off through a silent auction to raise funds for local flood relief efforts.

What to Expect:
- 🎨 Live Painting Relay: Watch as over 8 local artists rotate from canvas to canvas, adding their unique style to each work in timed rounds. Surprise mini-challenges and audience participation keep the night dynamic and unpredictable.
- 🎟️ Silent Auction: Bid on one-of-a-kind collaborative paintings. Proceeds benefit flood relief efforts.
- 🎁 Mega Art Basket & Raffles: Every admission ticket includes an entry into the Artist Mega Basket Raffle, filled with prints, merch, and handmade items donated by local artists. Additional Chinese raffle items — including themed baskets, gift cards, and local goods — will be available throughout the evening.
- 🎧 Live DJ + Emcee: DJ Louie the XIII and energetic MC Rosemary Ketchum will keep the vibes lively while guiding the night’s challenges and artist rotations.
- 🍹 Cocktails + Food Specials: Enjoy drinks (cash bar) and fabulous creations by Avenue Eats and Table 304!

Doors open at 5:30 PM. The painting begins at 6:15 PM sharp and concludes by 8:30 PM, followed by mingling, final auction bids, and raffle drawings. Admission is $10 (pre-sale available) and includes one raffle ticket for the Mega Art Basket.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley, OV Mutual Aid, and Triadelphia United Methodist Church

Not an artist? No problem! We also welcome non-art donations like gift cards, local goods, small business products, creative experiences, or themed gift baskets (spa night, coffee lovers, pet treats, WV pride, etc.). Anything fun, useful, or giftable is fair game!
