Well, have you heard of “Show of Hands,” an event Wheeling Heritage stages in the Artisan Center once every few months? The evening event involves four presenters who are given four minutes to present their pitch and four minutes to answer questions from large crowd of supporters.
It’s an evening of networking for local residents, too, and in the end, a vote is taken and the entrepreneur with the most votes wins the money and the other three get all of the free publicity that comes with participating. And it’s a lot. Free.
The next “Show of Hands” is scheduled for September 24th at 6 p.m. and the field of four is set to compete, and you should attend to see what it’s all about. That way, maybe you’ll decide to come tell us your pitch and intrigue us and make us want it.
