The U.S. Small Business Administration can now accept late applications for disaster relief.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has been granted a 60-day grace period and is currently accepting late disaster relief applications for the June flooding disaster in West Virginia, even though the official filing deadline has passed (Oct 3rd).

The SBA encourages businesses of any size, nonprofits/private organizations, homeowners, and renters to continue to apply during the 60-day grace period, which ends on Dec 3rd, 2025.  After Dec 3rd, 2025, applicants will have to provide an explanation with their application as to why they missed the deadline.

Eligible businesses, homeowners’ renters, and nonprofits may still apply for assistance through the SBA portal at https://lending.sba.govor visit sba.gov or call 1-800-659-2955.
