An OPEN LETTER to … The Folks Behind ‘Jingle Bar’ in Wheeling …

-

Dear Ken Sexton and “Lil’ Helper” Gigi Zelewicz:

Your wish to spread Christmas joy certainly has come to fruition with to your pop-up “Jingle Bar”, and it’s been entertaining to see the smiles and hear the laughter on our social media platforms. The decorations are gracefully overdone, the LED lighting schemes are warm, and your themed refreshments and snacks are perfectly simple for the season.

We also love the gumption, ingenuity, and genius that went into the business model and special event evenings, and we applaud the State of West Virginia’s ABCA for the special licensing and the property owner for granting the short-term lease. Folks in this area can be “stuck in the mud” far too often because we’re too comfortable with the “same way we’ve done things for years,” but the “Jingle Bar” is everything right about the holiday season.

Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Ken and Gigi, and thank you again for adding new memories to ours.

Sincerely,

Our Inner Clark Griswold
