West Virginia Northern Community College (WVNCC) will move all face-to-face classes to online instruction beginning March 30 and continuing through the end of the spring semester. WVNCC is on spring break this week, March 16-20, but will extend spring break one additional week through March 27. The college will remain open during this time for faculty and staff. Faculty will communicate directly with students in each class. All classes will meet online at their scheduled day and time.
Current online classes will not be impacted, and they will continue to meet online as scheduled and resume on March 23. All events, activities and other public gatherings have been suspended until April 10 at WVNCC. All updates will be posted at www.wvncc.edu
“Given the current situation of COVID-19, we have made the decision to move all instruction online. Extending spring break for an additional week gives our employees the opportunity to shift course work and resources to online instruction,” commented WVNCC President Dr. Daniel Mosser. “I want to commend our employees for their dedication to our students and innovative approach to this rapidly changing situation.”
