City Clerk, Sondra Hewitt, announces to all individuals wishing to seek a seat on Moundsville City Council for the November 3, 2026, General Municipal Election that they may file for candidacy on the 1st day of July 2026 and through the 14th day of August 2026.
Forms may be picked up in person at the City Clerk’s office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Three positions are open for offices: Second Ward Councilperson (4-Year Term); Fourth Ward Councilperson (4-Year Term); and Councilperson at Large (4-Year Term).
