FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
On July 15, 2026, Detectives with the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit apprehended a male individual in connection with a multi-state investigation involving the possession and distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material.
In collaboration with federal and state partners, Detectives arrested Landon Alexander Gray, age 29, from Bellaire, Ohio, on 10 counts of Felony Pandering Obscenity involving a Minor. Gray is currently incarcerated at the Belmont County Jail without bond, pending an arraignment scheduled for later this week. The investigation into this matter remains ongoing.
Gray is also wanted in Louisiana for multiple sexually related offenses related to this investigation and will be extradited upon the conclusion of the Belmont County case.
Sheriff Zusack asserts, “The exploitation of children constitutes one of the most severe crimes we investigate. Our message is unequivocal: if you engage in the exploitation of children or traffic in material depicting their abuse, we will employ every available investigative resource to identify you, collect evidence, and apprehend you, adhering to our Zero Tolerance policy.”
