WVDOH Announces Multiple Projects in Marshall County

Marshall County, WV – A portion of County Route 54 (Big Grave Creek Road), near Rosby’s Rock, will have a lane restriction, at milepost 2.72, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., beginning on Monday, August 31, 2026, through Wednesday, September 2, 2026, for gas pipe installation. Flaggers will maintain traffic.

Motorists are advised to slow down and expect delays.

ALSO:

A portion of WV 2, southbound, between Wayne’s Ridge Road and Burch Ridge Road, will have one lane closed, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Monday, August 31, 2026, for road maintenance. There is an 11-foot lane restriction. Flaggers will maintain traffic. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect delays.

PLUS:

County Route 25 (Green Valley Road), near the intersection of County Route 98 (Tunnel Hill Road), in Cameron, will be closed, beginning Tuesday, September 8, 2026, through early December, for a slip repair. Local traffic will be accommodated. Truck traffic will be detoured.

Alternate Routes: Use US 250 to WV 891; PA 21; PA 18; Aleppo Road; and County Route  25 (Green Valley Road).

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the schedules of these projects.
