We believe the YMCA Board made a very wise decision in August when honoring you with their “Light of the Valley” award, and that’s because we know you care about us even if you don’t know us.
As you well know by now, most people HATE going to the dentist, but, appointment after appointment, both adults and kids, one after another, you somehow changed that standard and, if he is not just yet, Pope Leo needs to examine those facts for evidence of a true-blue miracle taking place repeatedly along Mount de Chantal Road.
Your work with local veterans, with charities in the Wheeling area, and with those in need of dental care without the means to pay for dental care are just a few examples why the YMCA Board selected you, and why we’ve decided – a little more than two weeks later – to offer our appreciation for your YEARS of heartfelt service to your community, and to The Lord.
Your kindness, compassion, and your mouth-side manner are priceless qualities that answer your patients’ prayers, and that’s why we believe YMCA Board President Jamie Bordas nailed it when commenting to a WTOV reporter, “It was so easy to honor someone like Dr. Rick Zambito, who for years and years has been truly a light in this valley.”
