Lane and Ramp Closures on Interstate 70 Eastbound in Wheeling to Begin Monday, September 28, 2026
Ohio County, WV – A portion of Interstate 70 eastbound will have the right lane closed from milepost 0.80 to milepost 1.27, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Monday, September 28, 2026, and Tuesday, September 29, 2026, for road maintenance. The Market Street ramp will also be closed during this time. Motorists are advised to slow down, use alternate routes, and expect delays.
Alternate Routes: Use US 40 westbound or US 40 to Interstate 70 and Interstate 470.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
