A Statement from Most Rev. Evelio Menjívar Regarding Health of Pope Leo XIV

“I join with the faithful of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston and indeed those of all faiths from around the world in prayer for the health of our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV. We are thankful that his condition was discovered at an early stage and that his surgery was successful. We will continue to pray that he makes a full recovery. May God, the Divine Physician, keep him in His care and guide the minds and bodies of all those who will care for our Holy Father.”

Most Rev. Evelio Menjívar, Bishop of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston
