Two projects along Interstate 70 will have an impact on local traffic patterns.

Interstate 70, eastbound, will be restricted to one lane and the Market Street on-ramp, in Wheeling, will be closed, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, for tunnel maintenance.

Alternate Route: Use US 40, eastbound and US 250.

Plus, a portion of westbound Interstate 70, at milepost 4.70, will have one lane closed, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, and Wednesday, July 24, 2024, for bridge inspection. Flaggers will maintain traffic on US 40 eastbound and westbound. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect slight delays.

Motorists traveling near these projects are advised to slow down and use alternate routes.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the schedules for these projects.
