An OPEN LETTER to … Anyone Who Knows What Happened to Nancy Lynn Green …

-

Those in the Know:

She spent two hours on the radio airwaves (The River Network 100.1 FM WLYV) waiting for you to call. But hey, what’s two hours when Nancy’s daughter, April, has been waiting for you for a little more than 19 years. Nancy was dropped off at the Ohio Valley Medical Center for a treatment appointment, didn’t go, and hasn’t been seen since.

All she wanted was a phone call so you could answer the “Who?” “What?” “Where?” “When?” “How?” questions people ask when attempting to gather accurate information. But all you delivered was extended silence.

The saddest part? April didn’t expect you to call. She was prepared for more of your hush-hush, and if her recurring nightmare of a grotesque hand reaching to her from the Ohio River returned, so be it. She was just happy her Mom was remembered once again even if it meant closure continued to be elusive.

Sincerely,

Still Searching
