An OPEN LETTER to … Bridgeport’s Brett Kuprowicz …

-

Hey there Spelling Bee Champ:

S-U-C-C-E-S-S.

You were one of 243 spellers to travel to the Scripps National Spelling Bee and you performed well as “No. 174” after you were crowned the best middle-school speller in all of Belmont County.

Now, you’ll have your final summer before becoming a high school student at Bridgeport High School, and we’re wishing you luck in all your endeavors and we wanted to congratulate you on your hard work. Now that social media places on display our spelling skills (or lack thereof) on a daily basis, many folks have developed a fresh appreciation for those vocabulary classes back in the day.

Be well and do well, young man.

Sincerely,

We Appreciate You
