Dear Motorists:
Ugh, right? Interstate 70 is clogged again because of the coal mining taking place beneath it near Dallas Pike. But hey, as long as the lights come on, right? Right.
So, yes, it’s an inconvenience, but it’s like y’all enjoy sitting in a long line of traffic, folks, and we must warn you – it’s not healthy. Instead, it’s aggravating, agitating, irritating, infuriating, and, at times, even excruciating.
So, here’s an idea. Zipper merge. One vehicle from one lane goes forward, and then the vehicle in the other lane the follows. Repeat. Over and over. Piece of cake.
When performed successfully, traffic proceeds smoothly and kindly.
Just. Zipper. Merge.
