The City of St. Clairsville’s Board of Architectural Review will meet on Wednesday, April 20, at 4:00 P. M. The meeting will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church (238 S. Marietta St., St. Clairsville).
Mr. Michael Gioulis, a Historic Preservation Consultant, will address the Board concerning the City’s long-standing commitment to historic preservation in St. Clairsville’s Downtown Historic District. In early 1994, the City’s application to the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, for the designation of much of its downtown business district as the “St. Clairsville Historic District” was accepted. Mr. Gioulis was the author of the report which led to this important designation.
Members of the public are welcome to attend. If questions, please contact the City’s Planning & Zoning Administrator, Tom Murphy, at 740-695-1953 or email tmurphy@stclairsville.com.
