Belmont County Sheriff Dave Lucas Reaches Out to Local Dog Lovers

-

Dear Ohio Valley Veterinarians and Canine Care Supporters:

The Belmont County Dog Park Project, a joint venture between the Belmont County Commissioners, Sheriff David Lucas and The Road Home Animal Project, will be hosting the First Annual Halloween Costume Party and Parade for Dogs.  This event will be a fundraiser for the dog park project and will be held on October 30 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Belmont County Fairgrounds.

We are soliciting sponsors for the event as well as donations of items for silent auction baskets.  Sponsorships are $250 (platinum), $100 (gold), and $50 (silver).  Sponsors will be acknowledged with signage at the event and representatives of the sponsors are invited to serve as judges for the costume contests.  Donors for the silent auction can donate a complete basket or items to be organized in various baskets.

We wish to thank everyone who has supported our Belmont County Dog Park Project and hope you can join us in this entertaining fundraising event.  To sponsor or for baskets/items, please contact BCSO Outreach Coordinator, Sherri VanTassel, at svantassel@belmontsheriffohio.gov or 304/479-8098 OR sponsorships and baskets/items can be dropped off at the Sheriff’s Office.  All checks should be made payable to The Road Home Animal Project, with “dog park” in the memo line.

Sincerely,

Sheriff David M. Lucas
