Bordas & Bordas Welcomes Two New Attorneys

Bordas & Bordas is pleased to announce the addition of two new attorneys, Richard Monahan and Matthew Schrebe.   

Monahan joins the firm after spending the last 28 years with The Masters Law Firm in Charleston, W. Va. He has been involved in hundreds of cases at the trial court and appellate court levels, including successfully arguing before the Supreme Court of the United States. He has been involved in diverse areas of civil litigation including product liability, personal injury, class actions, and oil and gas. He is a 1990 Pitt Law School graduate and a member of the Board of Governors of the West Virginia Association for Justice. He previously served as a law clerk for the late, United States District Court Judge Elizabeth V. Hallanan.  He has also been named a West Virginia Super Lawyer. 

Schrebe, a 2010 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, has 10 years of experience in civil litigation in various areas of the law including auto collisions, premises liability cases, and workplace injury cases. Schrebe has been named by Super Lawyers as a West Virginia Rising Star in the area of General Litigation. He is a native of Wheeling, W. Va., and previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable David Sims in the 1st Judicial Circuit of West Virginia. 

Managing Partner Jamie Bordas is pleased with the law firm’s new additions.
