Brookside Resident Arrested on Felony Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor

On April 24, 2026, the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit, with the assistance of the Bellaire Police Department, executed an arrest warrant at a residence on Prospect Avenue in Brookside, Ohio. This warrant was in response to a tip received from the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force regarding the distribution and possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material. 

As a result of a lengthy investigation, Detectives arrested Nicholaus Lee Goins, age 25, a resident of Brookside, Ohio.

Goins has been booked into the Belmont County Jail on 5 counts of Felony 2 Pandering Obscenity involving a Minor, and 2 counts of Felony 4 Pandering Obscenity involving a Minor. He is being held on no bond pending arraignment in Belmont County Court Eastern Division. 

The investigation into this matter is ongoing. Sheriff Zusack thanks the Bellaire Police Department for their assistance in the investigation.
