Calling All Creative Entrepreneurs in Wheeling! 

Are you a creative entrepreneur in the Wheeling area seeking support to improve your business practices and make an impact in your community? Learn about a new opportunity for you below!

The Alliance for Creative Rural Economies (ACRE Partners) supports creative entrepreneurs (makers, designers, artists, craftspeople, and small-batch manufacturers) across Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia committed to sustaining and scaling their businesses in ways that benefit their communities. 

Bridgeway Capital’s Creative Business Accelerator in partnership with Wheeling Heritage and RED (Reginal Economic Development Partners)seeks creative entrepreneurs to join a yearlong cohort-based program that will help creatives in the Wheeling, WV area grow their businesses, make lasting connections, and access opportunities to make a lasting impact for themselves and their communities.  

Through an application process, up to 15 creative businesses will be selected to join a year-long ACRE Partners cohort composed of like-minded entrepreneurs who seek to improve and evolve their creative and business practices. Ranging from graphic design to blacksmithing to instrument making, ACRE cohort participants will share a common desire to connect to other creative entrepreneurs, develop stronger business practices, and thrive in ways that support their community. The ACRE cohort will gather, learn together, and share in their successes and challenges. Participants are highlighted on the ACRE website and celebrated through imagery, storytelling, and community events.
