Teaching Hunger
We can open pantry after pantry, but that's not going to solve the problem of hunger and food insecurity. What we need to do is recruit those whose mission it is to feed the hungry and get them involved in pushing for policy change. We need to start breaking down the systems that create or perpetuate hunger.
Home Cooking with Jess – Chicken Dip
Throwing bone-in chicken into a crockpot for the day is a regular occurrence in my house. Not a whole chicken. Just breast or thighs.
Home Cooking with Jess – Meatballs
As much as I love taking appetizers and turning

Home Cooking with Jess – Tailgating
I am not a chef. I am a mediocre home cook, but when
it comes to tailgate style food, I’m an expert in putting together minimal
ingredient, less expensive, delicious snacks.
