The two teams are back on the ice in downtown Wheeling Wednesday evening.

The West Liberty wrestling team is currently ranked No. 4 in the nation and is set to defend its Super Region 3 championship crown Saturday when the top teams in Super Region 3 head to the ASRC.

Wheeling's next four games are scheduled for Wesbanco Arena.

The recipients were announced Thursday evening.

Paden City's girls' wrestling team recently finished fifth at the unofficial West Virginia State Girls Wrestling Tournament held in Parkersburg.

Robinson is no stranger to the Ohio Valley. Before heading to Baldwin Wallace, he was the offensive coordinator, offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator at Wheeling University for three seasons.

Bethany freshman Lindsey Garrison is one of the top all-around offensive weapons in the Presidents Athletic Conference this season. The former all-state from Wheeling Park also broke the school record for single-season 3-pointers, a number that continues to grow as the regular season continues.

Wheeling has home games this Friday and Saturday evenings.

The team returns home this weekend.
