Christmas on the Avenue Set in Moundsville

-

The City of Moundsville Arts & Culture Commission will be hosting their third annual “Christmas on the Avenue” on Saturday, December 18th from 5-8PM at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Fifth Street.

Christmas on the Avenue is a free community event for families to gather and celebrate the holiday season. “This year we will have a variety of activity stations including ornament coloring, cookie decorating, pictures with Santa, letters to Santa, hot chocolate, balloon animals, horse and carriage rides, hayrides, a DJ, and a lighted tree. It is a priority of the Commission to offer our events free or very low cost to ensure that no family in Marshall County has a barrier to attending and engaging in community activities,” says the City of Moundsville Arts & Culture Commission.

The Commission thanks their sponsors and the City of Moundsville as their continued support allows the Commission to offer high quality events free of charge to our community. Sponsors for this event include Moundsville Rotary Club, WesBanco, Main Street Bank, David Robbins Paul Associates, David & Cindi Bougher, Sleep Inn & Suites Moundsville, West Virginia Northern Community College, Ladies League of Marshall County, J&R Excavating, CLP Services, and Berry, Kessler, Crutchfield, Taylor, and Gordon.
