City of Benwood Debuts New Website, City Logo

-

The city of Benwood announced its newly designed website and logo at a special press conference prior to its Tuesday evening council meeting.

City officials stated that the new online platform features a seamless and intuitive browsing experience and a more modern look and feel, as well as new tools for residents that allow them to report an issue, submit requests, search for information and several other features.

“We think the new website, with its modern design and enhanced functionality, will make access to information and online interactions with the public simpler, better and more efficient, “ said Benwood Mayor Walter Yates. “It’s designed to be very user-friendly with new features that include fillable online forms, online bill pay, search function, a community calendar and news section and more.”

In addition to the new website, the city logo was redesigned, and an official city Facebook page has been established.

“Our logo, which was formerly just the city seal, was updated with the addition of a wordmark, and we also added an official Facebook page,” said Yates. “With this whole project, we wanted to modernize and improve how we communicate and engage with our residents and businesses and make it easier for them to interact and do business with the city.”

“Benwood is blessed with some of the hardest working and friendliest people you’ll ever meet,” Yates added. “It’s a great place to live, visit or open a business and we want to get the word out to everyone about all that our great city has to offer.”
