City of Wheeling Kicks Off Summer Concerts Wednesday

City of Wheeling is pleased to kick off another season of free summer entertainment this week beginning with Waterfront Wednesday at Heritage Port featuring a performance by Vinyl Soul, a groovy tribute to the 60s and 70s. 

Toe Tappin’ Tuesdays at Warwood’s Garden Park will begin on May 28 featuring country variety band Tammy Joe & Iron Horse. Concert goers should note that all Tuesday shows will be held at Garden Park this year.

Wheeling’s Arts & Cultural Commission will host Centre Market Saturdays, the first being held on June 1 with Billy the Kid & the Regulators.

All the free concerts begin at 7 p.m.

A variety of movies will be shown on the big screen in various locations within the City throughout the summer with a showing ofBarbie on tap for June 15 at Heritage Port. The movie will be in conjunction with a “Pink Party” at 6 p.m., prior to the start of the film that begins at dusk.
