Culvert Replacement Along Bethany Pike Begins Early Monday

Ohio County, WV – A portion of WV 88, Bethany Pike, in Wheeling, near milepost 6.62, will be restricted to one lane, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., beginning on Monday, March 2, 2026, through Thursday, March 12, 2026, for a culvert replacement.

Traffic will be maintained by temporary traffic signals. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect delays. 

Alternate Route: Use US 40 to WV 2 northbound to County Route 1 (Short Creek Road) or US 40 eastbound to County Route 25 (Peters Run Road) to WV 88.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the project schedule.
