WHEELING, WV – This summer, Oglebay’s Good Zoo is thrilled to announce an exciting lineup of summer camp programs that will immerse kids and young adults in the wonders of wildlife, nature, and science! Designed for ages 4 to 15, the camps offer a variety of hands-on activities, engaging experiments, and unforgettable animal ambassador experiences. Plus, register by April 30 to enjoy a 10% discount on registration fees!

“Our summer camps provide a unique opportunity for children to connect with nature while learning about animal care, conservation, and the fascinating world of biology in a fun and interactive environment,” said Dr. Joe Greathouse, Director of the Good Zoo. “We can’t wait to inspire the next generation of wildlife enthusiasts!”

In addition to a variety of Good Zoo activities, campers in grades 2-8 will have the chance to enjoy the outdoor pool at Oglebay’s historic Crispin Center, making this a summer to remember!

“We want our summer camps to inspire kids to participate in the conservation of animals, both in our backyards and around the globe, by learning about different species and meeting some animals up close,” said Decklyn Scott, Assistant Curator of Education at the Good Zoo. “Along the way, we hope the campers have fun playing games, making crafts, and finding new friends.”
