Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack to host second annual Eats and Beats Festival to celebrate the community
WHEELING, W.Va. (September 20, 2025) – Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack is proud to announce the return of its second annual Eats and Beats Festival, taking place on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
This free, family-friendly event, held rain or shine, is open to the public and promises a full day of live music, food, games, and community celebration.
“Hosting this festival is our way of bringing the community together at the end of summer one last time for a day of fun and entertainment,” said Kimberly Florence, president and general manager of Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack.
“We had an incredible turnout for our Independence Day Fun Festival and are thrilled to build on that success with even more activities and excitement. We look forward to welcoming everyone!”
Event Highlights:
- Live Entertainment:
- 11 a.m. – DJ Daner
- 1:30 p.m. – Whiskey Rider
- 4:00 p.m. – Tammy Jo & Iron Horse
- 6:30 p.m. – Gage Joseph Band
- Food Trucks: Enjoy a wide variety of flavors from over 10 food trucks offering everything from local favorites to classic American fare.
- Family Fun: Free carnival games, inflatables, and interactive activities for all ages.
- Local Vendors: Shop and explore offerings from regional artisans and businesses.
- Live Racing: Don’t miss the excitement of live racing beginning at 1 p.m.
- Beer Gardens: Open to guests 21+ and offering an array of beverage options.
This year’s festival is made possible through the support of Pepsi, Bud Light, Wine and Beverage Merchants, Coors Light, Modelo, White Claw and Panhandle Cleaning & Restoration.
Florence added, “This year has been challenging for our region, especially with the devastating floods that impacted so many families and businesses. We hope this festival offers a moment of joy and connection for our community as we continue to recover and rebuild together.”
Cap Off the Night with Colt Ford in the Showroom
Country rap star Colt Ford will be performing live in The Showroom at 9 p.m.
