There are several dates that will have additional hours due to events at the Nutcracker Village. Inspired by the original German Christkindlmarkts, the 5th Annual Steubenville Advent Market will bring a cherished Alpine tradition to Downtown! Visitors experience a one-of-a-kind holiday shopping village as they stroll through the world’s largest collection of life-size nutcrackers and illuminated walkways, weaving through festive wooden chalets, brimming with high-quality handmade gifts.

5 Nuncrackers – Broadway Christmas Musical

7 PM – 10 PM

The Strand Theatre, Moundsville, WV

Artists On Call is thrilled to again present “Nuncrackers” for 2 performances: Saturday, November 30, 2019 (7 pm) & Sunday, December 1, 2019 (3 pm) @ The Strand Theatre in Moundsville, WV. Pre-sale tickets are $12, while tickets purchased at the door are $15. Proceeds from our performances support the Marshall County Animal Shelter in Moundsville, WV.
 
“Nuncrackers” – The “Nunsense” Christmas Musical is the first “TV Special” taped by the sisters in their convent basement studio for Cable Access. It stars the nuns you love plus Father Virgil and some of Mt. Saint Helen’s most talented students. It features all new songs including: Twelve Days Prior to Christmas, Santa Ain’t Comin’ To Our House, We Three Kings of Orient Are Us, and It’s Better to Give Than To Receive. This show is filled with “Nunsense” humor, some of your favorite carols, a “Secret Santa,” and an uproarious take on Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Ballet. Nuncrackers will make you laugh and maybe tug at your heartstrings. It’s the perfect way to insure your holiday season is merry and bright.

We have 2 tours to choose from: Centre Market Tour (short, easy walking, mostly inside) and the Downtown/Centre Market Loop (1 mile walk). 2WLU Concert Band Winter Concert

St. Mark Lutheran Church, Wheeling, WV

The concert is free and open to the public and will feature works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Vaclav Nelhybel, Julie Giroux, and Leroy Anderson. Additionally, the University Concert Band is excited to feature WLU Trumpet Instructor – Dr. Isaac Winland as a featured soloist with the ensemble during the concert. We hope you can join us for a wonderful evening of music!

Long-established in the Upper Ohio Valley as a graphic designer working on local, regional, and national campaigns, Donaghy has been creating visual art for many years.
