Flood Disaster Recovery Still Available in West Virginia Counties

If your home or business was damaged by the June Flooding, the U.S Small Business Administration (SBA) may be able to help.

The physical application deadline to get in person assistance is coming up on Oct 3rd; SBA encourages businesses of any size, nonprofits/private organizations, homeowners, and renters to continue to apply even well after the upcoming physical deadline, with a 60-day grace period which ends on Dec 3rd, 2025.  After Oct 3rd2025, applicants will have to provide an explanation with their application as to why they missed the deadline.

SBA Benefits: No cost to apply, no interest or payments for the first year, no pre-payment penalties. Funds can be used for relocation, refinance, reimbursement, insurance deductibles and available if you have no insurance or are underinsured.

Business owners can apply for working capital losses and have until April 22, 2026, to apply.
