WHEELING, WV — June 24, 2025 — The Ohio Valley is coming together in a big way this summer. The Rise Up Flood Relief Festival will take place on Friday, July 5, at River City in Wheeling, with a mission to support families affected by the recent catastrophic floods in Valley Grove and Triadelphia.

The event will run from 11:00 AM to midnight, offering a full day of live music spanning a wide range of genres. Whether you’re into rock, country, blues, or indie, the lineup will feature something for everyone.

All proceeds from the festival will go directly to Appalachian Outreach, a trusted local nonprofit providing urgent relief and long-term recovery assistance to flood victims in the region. No tickets or door charges will be taken for admission but, rather, donations are encouraged. Donations can also be made online at: https://www.paypal.com/fundraiser/charity/113901

While the lineup may be subject to change, confirmed performers include:

Donnie Decena, Whiskey Rider, Paul Shearer, Jeff Tappe, Jule Carenbauer, Bob Gaudio, Atomic Shindig, The Council, Adrian Niles Trio, Luke Burkhardt, and The Logan Wojcik Band

OVDJ Productions will keep the good tunes rolling between acts.

Attendees are encouraged to bring friends and family, enjoy the music, and contribute what they can to the cause. Additional event information and the performance schedule will be shared soon via social media and local media outlets.

“This is more than a concert—it’s a call to action,” organizers said. “We want to show the world what the Ohio Valley is all about: having our neighbors’ backs in times of need. Be cool and be kind. Exist and be decent.”

Join us as we Rise Up for our community—and show the heart of the Ohio Valley in action.
