Lane Closure on County Route 5/1, Walnut Grove Road, in Wheeling, to Begin Friday, October 2, 2026
Ohio County, WV – A portion of County Route 5/1 (Walnut Grove Road), in Wheeling, will be restricted to one lane, between County Route 23 (Stone Church Road) and Elliott Lane, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., beginning on Friday, October 2, 2026, through late November, for a gas line installation.
Flaggers will maintain traffic. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect slight delays.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
