Thanks to Generations Restaurant, national recording artists Phil Vassar and Deana Carter will take the historic stage of the Capitol Theatre in downtown Wheeling this Saturday evening for their “Coming Home for Christmas” show.

The performance is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be one of 16 stops the duo makes during their holiday tour. Fans will be able to enjoy the hits from Vassar and Carter, and of course, some holiday favorites.

Vasser is an artist, singer, songwriter, and two-time songwriter of the year, and he has released 51 singles, including 15 Top 10 hits and 10 No. 1 songs. Most commonly known for “Another Day In Paradise,” he packs his show with hit after hit. “Little Rodeo,” “Carlene,” “Six Pack Summer” and “My Next 30 Years” are just a few of them.

Carter, a Nashville native, has defied industry expectations of a traditional Nashville act because, throughout her career, she has showcased her own original blend of rock, country, and folk. Her album, “Did I Shave My Legs For This?” went platinum and it includes her biggest hit “Strawberry Wine.”
