Each time Gary Glessner has decided to add a new business inside his Elm Grove headquarters, it was because of a conversation he held with one of his clients.

An accounting client in search of an investment consultant? OK. Someone who purchases insurance needs a new state and federal tax preparer? Not a problem. The employees of all of those firms, though, deal with mostly numbers, but now Evolve Multimedia is the creative arm of the Glessner Group.

“The more the business grew, I have had far more interactions with our clients, and that’s given me a chance to hear what they need, either as a business owner or as an individual, and multimedia was something I heard about pretty often,” said Glessner, a member of Linsly’s Class of 1985. “So, just like when we’ve grown with new businesses, it made sense to create something that could offer those services, too.”

“With our clients alone, the staff with Evolve has been pretty busy,” he said. “So, we’ll see where it goes from here.”

15 Services Now Available

The Evolve staff currently consists of Colleen Touvelle and Halle Guzolik, but the two ladies can fulfill any request from branding a business to managing their social media pages. Touvelle’s expertise rests with graphic design, and Guzolik is more of a marketing wordsmith.

Touvelle joined the Glessner Group nearly two years ago and has since re-branded all of the businesses in visual and personal ways. These days, however, all of her days are about assisting other companies to evolve in many of the same manners.

“It was in August 2020, when it was decided that the group wanted to create a multimedia company after several of their clients asked who was doing their marketing,” Touvelle recalled. “That’s when I started to be contracted out to those other companies.

“Gary has created a number of businesses, and he did that because of his clients and their needs,” Touvelle explained. “That’s exactly what took place with Evolve. People were asking for it, so he created it, and here we are. It was all about offering a new service to the client base that he has grown since he started his career, and now there is a new kind of service we are able to offer to them.”

Local Resident, Local Job, Local Growth

She was raised and educated here in Wheeling, and once she was graduated from West Virginia University in May 2020, Guzolik set out on her quest to return to her hometown, find employment, and begin life.

A little more than a month ago, that became a reality, and now she’s growing her skills thanks to teamwork with Touvelle.

“I communicate with our clients, take care of the social media pages that we manage, provide copywriting for projects, and much more” Guzolik explained. “But really, most days, Colleen and I split all of the tasks that we need to accomplish to do the best work we can for our clients.

“We work very closely with each other, collaborating and bouncing off creative ideas” she said. “We really do work as a team because that is what is best for those who put their trust in us.”

Following each expansion of the Glessner Group, growth has continued, and Touvelle expects the same with Evolve. To contact Tourvelle or Guzolik, email each of them at info@evmultimedia.com.

“We have been very busy since we started Evolve in the beginning of January, and we’re hoping to grow in the future,” Touvelle said. “We offer a lot of different services. It’s a list based on what the clients have requested from us. When it comes to marketing these days, there’s so many different things that go into it, and we’re working very hard to be able to fulfill those needs.

“We work with our clients on things like website design and creating billboards, and we’re hopeful that our client base will expand because of all of the services we offer,” she said. “We’re really excited to see where Evolve goes and where we can take it.”
