We’ve evolved while surviving a pandemic, hospitalizations, and the many changes that have taken place throughout the Upper Ohio Valley, but our mission has remained absolutely the same as it was when we launched.

We are not competition, but a complement to the news outlets we have here in the region, and we are one digital media outlet that shares “breaking news” credit while celebrating everyone and offering insights and ideas that are born from our unique perspective. We enjoy focusing on the people and on what they love most here in our valley, and based on reader reaction, you seem to appreciate that journalistic approach.

The numbers? We’ve published more than 4,500 articles so far, including news, features, and opinion pieces, and we’re open to reviewing all queries from local writers. Please send your ideas to info@ledenews.com.

But – and we’re not kidding here – the pandemic was a difficult time for all of us, and we were very lucky to have our founding advertisers stick with us so we could continue producing the news and information the public needed most. Since then, we’ve returned to focusing on the issues, solutions, our local residents, and the community amenities we all take for granted from time to time.

Our local newspapers, television, and radio stations perform important services for our collective community, and they should be celebrated for that fact.

Us? Hopefully, we help you appreciate the reasons why you live where you live, and we do our best to deliver public and non-profit information to you, as well. If your town, village, or city would like to be included, please send press releases to: info@ledenews.com.

We want to tell the tales about how we got here, what we’ve done, and how we’re going about it now, and we want to be storytellers about where we think we’re heading next. LEDE hopes to introduce you to as many of your neighbors as we can, but we’ll need your help.

Thank you so much – again – for your support, and please feel free to contact us at any time.
