Allow me to introduce you to the “chaffle,” folks.
Do you have 2 eggs and a cup of shredded mozzarella cheese? All you need is some cooking spray and a waffle iron and you’re on your way to a seriously good and versatile low-carb vessel for sandwiches or desserts.
There are so many different versions of chaffles.
Play with sugars and spices and you can turn these into anything you wish. If you want to make an Italian, add some garlic and Italian seasoning. I have made a Reuben and a BLT with the savory chaffles. I prepared a cinnamon roll and a chocolate PB for a baking-free sweet treat.

Savory Chaffle:
Recipe:
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella
- (You can add any savory seasoning to compliment your toppings.)
Directions:
- Combine ingredients.
- Heat waffle maker and spray with cooking spray.
- Add mixture to waffle maker and bake according to your waffle maker.
- Add topping of choice!
Sweet Chaffle:
Recipe:
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella
- 1 tsp flour of choice
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sugar of choice
- (You can add a little vanilla, coco powder, cinnamon, etc, and/or you can top with whipped cream, fruit, ice cream, flavored syrups, etc.)
Directions:
- Combine ingredients.
- Heat waffle maker and spray with cooking spray.
- Add mixture to waffle maker and bake according to your waffle maker.
